Angkor Thom Archaeology Park

Surrounded with a mystical charm and ancient beauty, here you will see some magnificent ancient temples.

Only 4 km (2.5 miles) further north from Angkor Wat, Angkor Archaeology Park is home to some of the most stunning temple in Siem Reap.

The name translated means “Great City” and Angkor Thom Archaeology Park is a 9 kilometers (5.5 mile) square area. It was believed that the Khmer Royal Family once resided here, now housing a number of magnificent temples and structures.

Angkor Thom Archaeological Park can be entered from the 4 sides of north, south, east and west – with good road access, however the best way to go is South Gate Entrance.  This is magnificent to see and is arguably one of the most spectacular entries still preserved from the ancient world.
